Coupons, gift cards, loyalty & Discord rewards

Beyond the perk catalog, the store ships four tools for growing and keeping buyers.

Coupons

Create discount codes on Store → Coupons — a percentage or fixed amount off, storewide or scoped to one product, with optional max uses and an expiry date. Players enter the code in the buy dialog and see the discounted price before checkout.

  • Codes apply to one-time purchases (including pricing tiers), not subscriptions — a discount silently re-applying every renewal is a support headache we won't sell you.
  • A redemption only counts when the order completes; abandoned checkouts never burn a use.

Gift cards & store credit

Issue gift cards from Store → Gift cards — as paid products or as comped codes (giveaways, support gestures). A player redeems a code on your storefront and the value lands in their store credit wallet. Credit applies automatically at checkout — covering the whole purchase when it can, or paying part of it with the card covering the rest.

  • Wallet credit is USD-denominated.
  • Refunds return the credit portion to the player's wallet and the card portion to their card.
  • Redemptions show in Insights as credit redeemed, separate from cash revenue.
  • Unredeemed cards can be voided.

Loyalty tiers

Define a ladder on Store → Loyalty — tier names (say Bronze / Silver / Gold) at lifetime-spend thresholds, each with a color and a perks description. Players see their tier and progress on their account page; it's recognition that compounds into repeat purchases.

Discord role rewards

Link a perk to a Discord role on Store → Role rewards: when a player who has linked their Discord buys the perk, the Citadel bot grants the role in your guild automatically — and removes it when the perk ends. VIP channels, colored names, supporter badges — fulfilled like any other grant.

Role rewards need the Citadel Discord bot in your guild, and only apply to buyers who linked Discord on your storefront.
